Will my price go up when I renew?
Not because you renewed. We don't do cheap first-year deals that jump at renewal: you pay our normal price from day one. We only change prices if our own costs or inflation go up, and we'll always email you at least 30 days before. You can cancel before any change applies.
How do I pay?
Monthly by debit or credit card. You'll get a reminder before each renewal, and you can cancel any time.
I've bought hosting. What do I do next?
Your hosting is set up as soon as you pay. Log in at cp.fairhost.uk and you'll see your hosting listed: click Manage next to your domain to create mailboxes, upload your website, install WordPress and view backups. We also email you step-by-step set-up instructions.
Can I move my existing website and email to FairHost?
Yes. You can do it yourself with our guides, or we can do it for you: Website Move is £49 + VAT (£58.80) per website, and Email Set-up is £29 + VAT (£34.80) per mailbox. Add them in our shop when you order.
Where are your servers?
Your site and email are hosted in a UK data centre accredited to ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, running on 100% renewable energy.
Do you back up my website and email?
Yes. Website files are backed up daily and kept for 30 days, databases for 60 days, and every mailbox is backed up daily and kept for 30 days.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
Our Hack Restore Promise means we'll roll your site back to its most recent clean backup free of charge. Investigating the cause or repairing your own code is available as a paid service.
What happens if a payment fails?
We'll email you straight away so you can update your card. Your website and email keep running for 7 days while you sort it out. If the renewal is still unpaid after 7 days the service is suspended, and after 28 days it is cancelled.
Do you offer WordPress hosting?
Yes. Our WordPress plan comes with WordPress pre-installed on a platform optimised for it, with staging, daily backups and free SSL. You can also install WordPress in one click on any other plan.
How big are the mailboxes?
Mailboxes are 5GB each on Starter, WordPress and Business, and 10GB each on Pro. See our email setup guides to get them on your phone and computer.
How do I get support?
Raise a ticket from your control panel and our UK team will reply by email. See our support page for hours and details.
