Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy helps keep our platform fast, secure and reliable for everyone. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
You must not use the Services to:
- break any law, or store, send or link to illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content or content that infringes intellectual property rights;
- send unsolicited bulk email (spam), or send marketing email that doesn't comply with UK PECR and data protection law;
- host or distribute malware, phishing pages, or sites that impersonate other organisations;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, scan networks, or take part in denial-of-service attacks;
- harass, threaten or defame anyone, or promote violence or hatred;
- run cryptocurrency mining, file-sharing or proxy services, or use the Services as a backup or file storage service unrelated to a website;
- use an excessive share of shared resources (CPU, memory, processes or email sending) in a way that affects other customers;
- resell the Services without our written permission.
Email sending
Email must only be sent to people who have agreed to receive it, and every marketing email must include a working unsubscribe link. We may apply sending limits to protect our reputation and other customers' email delivery.
What happens if this policy is broken
We may remove content, suspend or restrict your Services, or end your contract, as set out in our terms. Where it's safe and lawful to do so, we'll contact you first. We may report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
Reporting abuse
To report spam, phishing, malware or illegal content on a site we host, email abuse@fairhost.uk with as much detail as possible, including URLs and email headers.
